I have a BSc in Osteopathy and am a muscle and joint pain specialist, qualified with the London School of Sports Massage Diploma (LSSM Dip.) in 2002, but I have been practicing for over 20 years in this field. I have also degrees in Sports Science and studied at Masters level in Sport & Exercise Medicine.  I am qualified in Dry Needling, Taping, Golf biomechanics, Foot mechanics and Ultrasound.

I lectured in Sports Massage at the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM) for 15 years and also ran a satellite school in North Wales for 3 years. I lectured at Bangor University’s Sports Science department in Anatomy, Immunology and also in first year statistics. I lectured at Coleg Menai Sports Science department, on their HND in Outdoor Education, delivering modules in Research Methods and academic writing skills as well as A -level PE. I have been published in and written for 220 Triathlon Magazine and Climber Magazine. I also wrote chapters on injury in Jim Kelly’s fell running guides and filmed an injury section for Olly Sanders DVD on Kayak Adventure.zacssm

I have treated members of the public, recreational, national and international athletes, from 7 years old and upwards, for a vast variety of musculo-skeletal disorders and I continue to do so. If you’re impressed by teams; I have worked for;  Wales and Great Britain Cycling squads  in tours in Europe.  The United States and  the South Africa Ultradistance Running National Squads, Welsh Athletics and several theatrical companies.

I am a muscle and joint health therapist who specialises in sports. I continue to work  with other Osteopaths, Doctors, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeons, Dentists, Prothodontists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors and Personal Trainers assisting in health education, treatment and rehabilitation.

I spent most of my manual therapist life working in North Wales but I have also worked internationally in France, Monaco, India, Thailand, Malaysia and most recently in Singapore. My mantra is to “Never Stop Learning” and I continue to accumulate knowledge from all of my travels. Most recently the treatment of Temporo-mandibular Dysfunction and sleep disorders, with one of South East Asia’s top Prothodontists, Dr David Tay.
